Backyard Slide

Mike's brother, Mark, is staying with us for a few days while he starts a new job. This weekend, we got a snowstorm that dumped a ton of snow on us. Mark remembered when he and Ryan made a slide from the roof. It was a huge slide and provided many hours of enjoyment for the whole neighborhood. So he got this idea to make a slide in our backyard.
It all started with a pile of snow on the back deck.
They filled this box with snow to make cubes for the base.

Mark kept saying just 10 more...

Everybody helped.
Luckily the neighbors pulled through with shovels and sleds. (We're still a California family after all.)

Mark tried it out.

Eli wanted to ride on Mike's back.

What fun! Grace told Mark that she was so glad he is moving here because she expects him to come over all the time and provide similar fun entertainment. We took some video.

Very cool reminds me of the castles Richie Gardner used to make out in front of their house.
